Swollen Finger Around The Cuticle

Why Jim Morrison told him the Lizard King? 02/02/2010

Jim Morrison nicknamed himself "Mr. Mojo Risin ' (an anagram for Jim Morrison), and was also called the Lizard King, a name taken from his poem " The Celebration of the Lizard " (The Celebration of the Lizard King), which was included on the album cover 1968, "Waiting For The Sun" . In a line of the poem, Morrison wrote: "I am the Lizard King, I can do anything" (I am the Lizard King, I can do whatever). Fans thought that Morrison was referring to the same duty of fictional alterego Morrison created a character so that was responsible for spreading his thoughts. The nickname stuck hard, and after a while, the band led the music added to the poem, it is performed several times in vivo. Part of the letter was used in the song "Not to Touch the Earth" and full version of "Celebration" that were recorded completely live in 1970.
